Please read through the Frequently Asked Questions we receive from students below before registering.
What is the UOG Math Accuplacer?ย ย ย ย The UOG Math Accuplacer is a computerized Math Placement Test (MPT). It accurately and efficiently assesses your knowledge in Arithmetic, Qualitative Reasoning, Algebra, Statistics, Advanced Algebra and Functions. Your test results will place you in math courses appropriate to your current level of knowledge in math.
Is there a fee for the test?ย ย ย ย There is a test fee of $25 for the Accuplacer MPT that must be made in advance. If you haven't paid the MPT fee yet, please make your payment at the UOG Bursar's Cashier's Office or online here:
https://uogmath.rocks/CASHNet. You will need your MPT Fee receipt number in order to register for the test.
Can I take this test from home? Where do I take the test?ย ย ย ย The Accuplacer MPT is not a take-home test. It must be proctored and administered on campus at the UOG Warehouse Annex B - Room 2. A map to the test site will be included with your test voucher.
How long is the test?ย ย ย ย The Accuplacer MPT is not timed, but you will only be allowed to stay at the testing site for a maximum of three (3) hours. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your test time.

The door to the Test Site, Annex B, Room 2 will open when check-in time starts, 8:30AM or 12:30PM. Registered students will have 30 minutes to check-in. The door will be closed and locked exactly at test time, 9AM or 1PM, to keep test takers from being disturbed. Please arrive to the test site early so you don't get locked out. Students who are locked out will have to reschedule their test.
What do I need to bring to the test?

- A valid picture ID such as a drivers license or passport.
- A copy, either printed or digital, of your Accuplacer test voucher.
- Your Accuplacer MPT Fee payment receipt either from the UOG Bursar's Office or an emailed receipt if you paid online.
- Face masks are optional to wear, but recommended if you are feeling sick, coughing or sneezing.
*๐ก๐ผ๐๐ฒ: Scratch paper and pencils will be provided at the test site and collected after your test. There are questions on the test where you may use a calculator and Accuplacer will provide a virtual one for you during the test.
What items are not allowed during the test?ย
- ย Digital devices such as cell phones, smart watches, tablets, laptops, MP3 players or physical calculators. (You will only be allowed to use your cell phone to access your voucher data to log-in to Accuplacer)
- Books, Notes or Study Material
- Food or Drinks
- Children or Infants
I am not ready to take the test. Are there any study material for the test?
ย ย ย ย Preparation should not be focused on learning new material, but on reviewing the material you have already learned. College Board Accuplacer has resources available that can help you with your preparation:

http://uogmath.rocks/SampleQuestionsTest3I have not received my test voucher, what do I do?ย ย ย ย Depending on how busy we are and how close your test date is, test vouchers may be emailed out from the time you registered for the test up to two days before your test day. If you have not received your test voucher two days before your test date, it may have been filtered out to your Junk/Spam mail inbox. Please do a search through your email for "Accuplacer Test Voucher". If you are completely missing a test voucher please contactย

I make a mistake on my registration, how do I make corrections?
ย ย ย ย Do not re-register using this form to make corrections.ย If you need to make registration corrections please contact
uog.accuplacer.mpt@gmail.com. We will make any corrections on your submitted registration form and your pre-registered Accuplacer Account.ย
What do I do if I need to reschedule my test?
ย ย ย ย Rescheduling requests will only be honored for emergency purposes. Duplicate registrations made to reschedule a test without authorization will not be honored and automatically deleted.
ย If you have already registered for the UOG MPT using this form, DO NOT register using this form again, unless you are registering for a retake.ย To reschedule your test, please contact
uog.accuplacer.mpt@gmail.com.
Is it possible to retake my test?ย ย ย ย Yes, you can retake the the test a maximum of two times after your first initial test.
There will be a $25 cost for each retake. select "Yes" on the question on the bottom of this form and the following section will display the Math Departments current retake policy.ย
*๐ก๐ผ๐๐ฒ: Test sessions are only open for reservations one to two weeks at a time. New test sessions will be updated to the registration form every Friday or once a test session closes. We recommend taking the MPT as early as possible, in case you would like to take a retake.
